Easton will hold a Special Town Meeting on Monday, Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. at Samuel Staples Elementary School, 515 Morehouse Road, in the Cafetorium.
Items to be discussed include:
-Updating the language of the town's Ethics Ordinance, Chapter 52 of the Code of the Town of Easton -Changes to the Municipal Land Use & Permit fee structure/table, Chapter 290-1 of the Code of the Town of Easton -Appropriating the sum of $244,000 from the undesignated fund (much of which will be returned via reimbursable grant from the state) to resurface the HKMS tennis courts and re-line them for pickleball
-The language of the proposed Conservation Easement for the South Park property
The first three items will be voted on via town meeting, while the Conservation Easement will be adjourned to a machine vote as part of a Referendum on Tuesday, Dec. 13 at SSES, with voting open from 6a-8p.
